Characteristics of window systems

Certification tests of REHAU window profiles, carried out at rapid changes of temperature, ultra violet radiation, precipitations and other extreme conditions, have shown that profiles do not become fragile, remain solid and sustain colour.

Window profiles remain resistant to the exposure of various chemical substances - acids, alkalis, domestic detergents as well as hydrocarbons and alcohols.

Heat transfer coefficient is an amount of heat in watts (W) per unit of time that goes through 1 square meter of a glass surface divided by temperature difference in degrees between inner and outer surfaces.

Heat transfer resistance coefficient (m2K/W) is a parameter reciprocal to heat transfer.

Solar factor (%) is amount of solar energy that is transferred through glass and warms a room.

Light transmission (%) is an amount of a visible light that is transferred through glass and lights the room.
